Mrs. Hadley Keefe

Hadley holds a B.A. in English from Providence College. Passionate about literature, storytelling, community building, education, and working with children, Hadley has spent the past twelve years as an Enrollment Management professional across a broad array of independent and Catholic schools on both coasts. Hadley's role as Assistant Head of School and Director of Enrollment Management at SCBA bring all of her passions together. Mrs. Maria Smith

Maria holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Maine, and Elementary Education Licensure from Regis College. She has many years of experience teaching across the elementary school grades. A mother of four daughters and a proud grandmother, Mrs. Smith brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to her position. Mrs. Smith works closely with Mr. Boren to provide professional development opportunities and mentorship to faculty and likewise oversees curriculum development. Mrs. Karen Celano

Mrs. Karen Celano, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, has served in a variety of teaching, administrative, and volunteer roles at Catholic schools in New York and Boston. Karen has her Bachelor’s in History from Johns Hopkins University, her Masters in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, and has completed graduate coursework in Religious Studies from Yale University. Alex has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Virginia Tech. Before moving to Massachusetts, Mr. Newsome taught fifth grade for eleven years in Virginia and Maryland. Mr. Newsome says, “SBCA offers the perfect blend of Catholic and classical education to help form saints and scholars.
